Age: 5 - 6 years
At Love & Learn Preschool, children at this stage develop confidence in talking, interacting, and observing the world around them. They enhance their vocabulary, reading, writing, and numerical skills while growing socially and cognitively.
π Physical Skills
Children learn to walk on tiptoes, balance on a beam, jump rope, hop on one foot, and even dribble a basketball. They start participating in activities like swimming and dancing, building strength and coordination.
π€ Social Skills
At this stage, children start valuing friendships and seek approval from their peers. They begin to understand concepts like right and wrong and enjoy performing (singing, dancing, acting) to get attention. They also develop a sense of sharing and teamwork.
π§ Cognitive Thinking
By watching and interacting with others, children learn to recognize colors, shapes, and letters. They begin reciting their names, addresses, and phone numbers. They also understand that stories have a beginning, middle, and end, and can count objects up to 10 while reciting numbers up to 20.
π Creative & Imaginative Play
The Love & Learn Preschool Puppet Theatre, storytelling, art, and role-playing encourage creativity and imagination. By the end of the UKG class, children gain independence, refine their writing and tool-handling skills, and are well-prepared for school admission tests.
